"The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful and gracious. The view from our room is lovely from our balcony. Just a heads up that the suite has the bedroom not facing the lake which is nice for privacy and restful sleep. The living room is well appointed with a lovely view and nice amenities. I am here for a college student drop off and would definitely recommend this hotel for its convenience to local dining, walking to services and for getting to know the area."

"The Lakeshore Inn advertises itself as a clean , nice, even a bit fancy hotel. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is a dinky, run-down road-side motel, that is not even clean. Here the reality: 1. Situated on a very busy street 2. Feels 100% like a dated motel 3. Some of the rooms (like in our „suite“) do not even get natural light, are dark holes 4. Ancient dirty carpet 5. Stains (body fluids??) on the one single chair per room. 6. Balcony dirty, rings of glasses everywhere 7. Rooms small, grimy. Photos misleading. 8. Bathrooms dated. 9. Very little water from shower. 10 Hallways super narrow and offputting. 11. Summing Up: Lakeshore Inn works on the gimmick that it is expensive. People expect something nice, if they have never seen it before. It is a dark, unpleasant place, overpriced for what it is. Lakeshore Inn: Avoid!"

"Extremely disappointing. We paid for the 1 bedroom suite with a balcony overlooking the lake. The hotel neglected to mention they had construction going on at the pool and lake area. So much for a beautiful view of the lake. Also, the only air conditioner is a wall unit and it’s in the living room. No a/c in the bedroom. They do provide a box fan… seriously! In all fairness, the location is very good. Great restaurants and shopping just steps away. And the bed was very comfortable."
