"I highly, highly recommend the Downtown Dog Lounge - SLU. From the evaluation, to daycare, to boarding they have shown excellent care to my dog. We are currently having an issue with flight delays while out of state, and they are very easy to communicate with and have helped me to not worry about Lola while we are going through an already frustrating situation. "Excellent services. I highly recommend Adam - he’s been an excellent groomer and my dog’s only groomer for the past 4 years or so. Also highly recommend the boarding and day care services. We’ve left our dog there for 2 weeks at a time and he always looks happy and healthy. And being able to check in on him via streaming is great! And any times there are concerns or changes, the team calls or texts to keep me aware and make sure we’re good. Very highly recommend the team at DDL"

"If I could give 10 stars, I would. The staff at Downtown Dog Lounge Ballard saved my dog's life. Max is an older dog and rescue with several underlying health conditions, but has been stable for several months. Earlier this year, the vet told us Max's heart condition would worsen, but he couldn't pinpoint when. My husband and I planned a much-needed long holiday weekend in Dallas with close friends. We dropped Max and our other pup off at DDL on Thursday. Saturday night I received a text message and video of Max. His tongue was blue and he was having a very hard time breathing. With my approval, they immediately took Max to the emergency vet where they intubated and gave him oxygen and sedation. After speaking with the emergency vet, it was clear that the attention paid to Max, and quick action of the Downtown Dog Lounge staff saved my dog's life. I cut my trip short and flew back first thing Sunday morning to rush to the hospital. After talking through everything with the vet, Max was discharged from the hospital with new medications that he is tolerating very well. I know we don't have much time left with Max, but as someone who loves her dogs dearly I don't want to not be there when something happens. However, the care, love, attention and excellent communication of the staff at DDL made all the difference. Thank you! I'm deeply grateful."

"Our little boy had a wonderful 9 day boarding here! The staff was so friendly and he looked like he was having so much fun. Getting a bath for him at the end was the right plan for sure, he was so clean and adorable when he came home. He definitely misses his friends and we’ll be back soon!"
