"falsely accused me of shoplifting, showed her the items is my pocket they didn't sell, and then threw the 1 $4 coffee I was going to buy down. Maybe it was clothes based? maybe it race based? idk but she falsely accused me. send the camera to the police I'll see for false accusations, etc"

"I’ve had a very unpleasant experience with this Safeway store. Recently, I witnessed two security guards pressuring a woman, who appeared to be homeless, to open her bag for a theft check. This seemed not only discriminatory but also, I later learned, potentially illegal. The staff, particularly at the self-checkout, are often discourteous. For example, I saw a large, white staff member with multi-colored hair, rudely questioning a gentleman, whom he referred to and called by “donut guy,” about their purchase, despite the customer having done nothing wrong. Instead of baselessly accusing people of theft or asking them unnecessary questions, or demanding to see inside their personal bags (which is apparently illegal), the staff should be more vigilant in preventing actual theft. If I see another incident where customers are coerced into showing their bags, I'll definitely call the cups. The behavior of the staff here is disappointing and needs to be addressed. Big shame on the management!"

"I ride the bus 40 minutes to arrive at this location. Born and raised in Ballard but live in Belltown near downtown Seattle. Stores close to me are not great so I go here where customer service is usually great. Great produce. Employees know where items are and will assist."

"Nice clean ,spacious store,great selections, excellent customer service , prices are not the cheapest, but the quality of the groceries are excellent, and consistent, so they are reasonable, and comparably about the same ,or little higher than other grocery stores , but it is worth shopping here. excellent location, large parking lot, but some time difficult to find parking near the entrance."

"Larger Safeway located in Crown Hill. Clean and well stocked store with great produce and meat selections. They tend to carry more interesting meats like lamb and venison. Ample parking and a large number of self-checkout terminals make quick trips easy. They also have a gas station in the parking lot so you can fuel up at the same time if you need to."
