"Lovely and popular spot to watch the sunset. Fire rings on part of the beach make for a nice place to warm up or dry off depending on the season. Frequently see seals in the water, consistently see the ferry on its route, occationally whales. Proximity to restaurants means great for getting grub, but a bit of a seagull frenzy at times. The gulls seem to not be bold enough to steal directly from your hands, though, thankfully. There is plenty of access to garbage cans, so there is rarely trash about. Dog bags are available, and both a short walking path AND beach access are nice to explore with dogs on leash. Small, clean, safe playstructure set back from the water is available and very popular too, making this beach incredibly accommodating and family friendly. LARGE parking lot. Mukilteo Beach is a really wonderful, beautiful small gem community."
"Excellent spot for dog walks and exploring the beach. It can get busy on the weekends when it's nice out but the parking lot is rarely 100% full. The lighthouse is a sight to see, and the fish and chips from Ivar's hits the spot. Doggie poo bags are provided as well as ample trash cans. The only negative is that it's pay for parking but it's worth what you get."
"I had the pleasure of visiting Mukilteo Beach during the summer, and it unquestionably stands out as one of the premier destinations in the area. The captivating views, iconic lighthouse, and inviting fireplace create an experience that is nothing short of mesmerizing. One notable feature of this beach is the abundance of parking space, ensuring a hassle-free visit for all. This convenience makes it an ideal spot for a serene evening excursion, where you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings and enjoy a moment of tranquility. Furthermore, Mukilteo Beach is strategically located in proximity to several exceptional restaurants, which adds to the overall charm of the area. After a delightful time spent exploring the beach, you can treat yourself to delectable cuisine at these nearby dining establishments, further enriching your overall experience. In summary, Mukilteo Beach offers a harmonious blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and convenience. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this enchanting beach is certain to leave you with indelible memories of an extraordinary visit. It's undoubtedly a must-see destination in the area."
"Today was the perfect day to go to the beach. Nice breeze. All the boats on the water catching salmon. I would definitely recommend visiting the top of the light house and signing your name in the guest book. Beautiful views."
"Absolutely beautiful beach! Park is great as well! We love the fire pits here, but they are first come first serve so I advise getting there early, there is only about 4 or 5 I think. Its a great place to watch the sunset! Great place for fishing on the docks too! Clean bathrooms. Parking lot costs money though so keep that in mind ! I believe we paid $9 for 3 hours. After sunset it does get pretty busy with a bunch of light up cars, which is fun to see but chaotic at times. Great place for family fun! There is also some grassy areas for playing catch etc."
