"GOLDEN GARDENS WAS SO PRETTY AND NICE. it was tucked away from the city so it gives a getaway feel with convenient access. the harbor lit up like stars and before the night fully set, you could see and hear the seals playing in the water edge. we coaxed a little fire as we watched the darkening sky and settled in the sand next to a picnic bench to enjoy some sandwiches. the experience was magical and inspiring. i will see it again someday, I'm sure of it."

"Actual beach sand instead of rocky shoreline. Plenty of space. Volleyball courts, trails through the wetlands. This is a little gem. Ample parking. This may be one of my favorite beaches"
"The beach is huge, with lots of space even when the parking is full. We saw families swimming, picnickers, couples, windsurfers, campers on a field trip, dogs, beachcombers, and more. The food stand was open, even though it looked closed. When we go back, though, we'll bring sandals or beach shoes. All that gorgeous sand gets hot. But the beach is roomy, pretty, easy to access and well appointed--worth the trip!"
