"I go up there to sit on the grass and read. I love the quiet and neighborhood up there. If I could live there, I would. Not that lower Magnolia is any slouch, but I LUUURVS it up there!! Needs it!!"
"I have been visiting Magnolia’s “Space Tower”neighborhood park for over two and a half decades. This iconic location never disappoints; with its impressive city views, and the most spacecraft-like water tower in Seattle, the park provides great vibes throughout your visit. If you really want to WOW your partner on a date, I highly recommend a visit to Space Tower. Admission to Space Tower Park is reasonably priced at, $0.00 and parking is free. Be sure to respect the peace and tranquility of the giant Space Ship and those who reside in its shadow."
"Seems like the city could water the grass. I mean the water tower is literally right there!"
"Smack-dab in the middle of a picturesque neighborhood in Magnolia Hills, this 1 million gallon tower built in 1947 is located on a slight rise at the northern end of an open grassy site, which covers an entire city block between West Dravus and West Prosper Streets and 38th and 39th Avenues West."
"This is the highest point in Magnolia with views of downtown and Mount Rainier on clear days. Besides the impressive vistas, there is not much here. It's an open grassy field where people play with their dogs, picnic, and fly kites."
