Reviews
"Calming spot to take a dip, check out some views, do some beach combing, or just relax on the beach. Small parking lot! Great spot for cold plunging! Join Puget Sound Plungers if you want to join others."
"Great spot for relaxing, walking the dog, jumping in the ice cold water or trying your hand as catching some salmon."
"One of my favorite beaches in Gig Harbor! There are some really interesting rocks made of different types of clay and it's always gorgeous here. Has a bit of sand too!"
"Beautiful little park. Limited parking. They do have an overflow lot but was closed when I visited. Thankfully was able to snag a parking spot. There is also only a port pottie on site. Was clean and was stocked with tp. The beach was amazing. Views were beautiful. Was very peaceful."
"Beautiful location and 1 of the only locations on earth you can view calcite concretions of the kind found on Fox Island. These "Fairy Stones" or "Clay Babies" are illegal to take from the Spit as well as taking them from the private beaches without permission from the owners. Please practice "Leave no trace" techniques and do not disturb or remove any housing of living creatures. NOTE: Display of "Clay Babies" is Located in the Museum at the center of the island. Used for reference to the calcite specimines often found at the spit."
