"I can only speak to my experience at Emerald City Emergency Clinic, but I have no bad words to say about all of the staff and veterinarians here. On a Friday night, I noticed my cat was vomiting. My partner and I took her to a pet clinic where they referred us to Emerald City. This was the only place open nearby. We dropped off our cat and before any additional work, was provided with very easy to read cost breakdowns depending on the severity of her condition. As this was during peak covid, the person over the phone was very helpful and answered any additional questions we had in regards to costs. After confirming payment, my cat was further inspected (x-rays and bloodwork). I was then provided with a call about the severity, and needed to provide confirmation of the procedure they would be performing. After the procedure, I was then given another call and updated on my cat's condition. Mind you, all of this occurred in the late night/early hours, around 1-4 am (very dedicated and transparent staff). Later that morning/afternoon, I was given multiple calls throughout the day about my cat's condition before I was able to pick her up. Throughout all steps of the way, everyone was so kind, caring, and patient with me. People provided me a lot of comfort and I felt like they went the extra mile to help with my worries."
"If you want your loved one to live longer & better, then avoid this place!!!! My heart shatters as I recount the agony of watching my beloved cat suffer at Emerald. In the morning, he had a seizure, and I rushed him there, only to endure five excruciating hours of neglect. No calls, no action. When we finally brought him home, he seized again. At 7 pm, Emerald nonchalantly informed me of an erroneous asthma diagnosis. My poor cat missed crucial treatment time and passed away the next day, and I wasted $2400 on their incompetence. I'm livid at the reckless misdiagnosis that robbed my pet of timely care. Emily Fukuzato is so unprofessional and she knows nothing. AVOID this place."
"I don't understand all the bad reviews about having to wait in a car for hours during the pandemic... it's an emergency clinic... Wait times will vary depending on the day and during the pandemic all Seattle area vets had a wait in car policy and would only take your animal inside. Anyhow we unfortunately visited a few times last week for our dog Lola. The front desk, techs, and vet were quick to help, informative, and super friendly. They talked about the treatment plan and estimates before doing anything I may not have been comfortable with. We had to leave our dog Lola for an extended period and they called me multiple times with updates and answered any questions I had. I have been to other emergency clinics multiple times but decided to try this one and i'm really glad I did. If any of my animals ever need it I will be returning here in the future. Thanks for taking care of Lola :)"
"I called them over the phone to determine whether or not I should bring my dog in, they were both clear and efficient in answering my questions. They gave very detailed responses and it didn't feel rushed like most animal ERs usually do, which was very nice! Additionally, they were able to accommodate my dog reactive dog. They were wary in protecting his trust with the vets. Staff was very friendly, mindful, and patient. Going here was a fantastic change of pace from my usual vet experiences with my sometimes high strung and very loud dog. I would highly recommend them for anyone with a sensitive dog or who just wants a higher quality of care for their pet :) Something to note is they don't have a parking lot, and so it is street parking only. It's an RPZ area. ETA: I did not read any of the reviews before I went here, and am not sure what's going on with people's negative experiences but the staff I interacted with today were truly great."
