"If you want a straight forward honest answer, she is the accountant for you. Some people simply may not get the answer they want to hear, and being unable to accept that will write a bad review. Her advice has saved us quite a bit in taxes. Taxes are her thing, and she's very knowledgeable in how tax law works. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else."

"I called to schedule a simple tax appointment. She seemed very put out. Started with a $200 quote, to which I said fine, that doubled to $400 immediately because she said she has to certify EIC claimant information. She then said most people just go to H&R Block for that kind of return and made it obvious that she couldn't be bothered. Then she started saying how busy she is. Mind you I haven't said much during this entire conversation, aside from basic information. I was getting the picture, so I quietly said, "It's ok, I'll go somewhere else.". Which, I'm sure, is what she was hoping for with her leading comment about H&R Block, since she replied with, "Perfect!" before hanging up. It's "perfect" that you sent a potential client away? It's "perfect" to make people feel like you couldn't be bothered? It's perfect? Well, I'm leaving a review so people will know how perfect you treated me this morning."
