"I would not be able to do my job without this amazing machine. At Fourth Corner Nurseries we harvest and clean seed from a few hundred species of native plants, the majority of which are processed in the Dybvig. We use it for all sorts of berries, fruits, cones, catkins, maple seed, grasses, and perennials. There are very few items for which another technique is easier or more thorough in separating the seed from the pulp/chaff/etc. As someone who comes from a background running a vegetable seed company and processing most things by hand or foot, I thoroughly appreciate how much this Dybvig saves my body and speeds up the processing time. You will more than pay for the machine's cost over the years by how much more seed you're able to clean, if that is your bottleneck. We have had the machine here from way before my time, over a decade, for many years with very few maintenance issues or repairs needed. The folks who run the company are the kindest around, and are very attentive and supportive. I am so glad that Paula and Bob took the reins from Paula's father, who created the Dybvig, so that we can all benefit from continued availability of parts and advice from those who know the machine the best.
