"Negative stars if possible. Incompetency galore before the work even could get started. In a phone call with the scheduling office (also in an email) I explained I would not be home until after 1pm so I booked the work to begin at 1:30pm. At 12:45 I got a security camera alert their truck was in my driveway. I called Whatcom Gutter & Roof Cleaning Dispatch Coordinator to reiterate i would get home after 1pm and they’d have to wait about 20 mins. When I arrived, one worker was in the driveway and didn’t speak English. The other worker should have recognized the wooden fence gate was locked and dispatch should have communicated to wait. However, the worker had dismantled my chain link fence and entered through the blocked area of my backyard. He, too, did not speak English. When info is not properly communicated within a company there was no way I trusted their work to be done competently. I called dispatch and said their workers entered my backyard which I didn’t give permission. Fortunately, my dog was not in the yard otherwise they’d have been mauled. I summarized the situation, and the dispatch person didn’t understand the problem i conveyed. I then had to talk to his supervisor who I originally talked to when setting up the contract. One of the workers on-site was trying to communicate with me using a language translator app however I let him know he needed to talk to his boss. I told dispatch that I was canceling my business with them and to tear up the contract. The owner later called me and didn’t realize his workers entered the locked property unattended. I told him it started with dispatch’s fail since that person should have properly relayed the time to start. The owner said he’d have someone come back to reassemble my fence and I said not to bother."

"I contacted Whatcom Gutter and Roof Cleaning about replacing at 30 ft gutter on our garage that had been damaged and needed replacing and another gutter on the roof of the front entryway of our house that needed to be re-sloped because it wasn't draining properly. Brent from WGRC came out to make an initial assessment, a quote for work was emailed to me, after some clarificationsl discussion I ok-ed the work, then within a few days I was notified that two workers from WGRC - Antonio and Luis would be out to do the work. Antonio and Luis showed up on that day, we showed them both gutters, then they set to work first replacing the damaged gutter and then re-sloping the front entryway roof gutter. Both jobs were done within a total of 2 hours, Antonio and Luis did excellent work on both tasks, even installing flashing behind the newly re-sloped gutter on our front entryway roof. I was very impressed with how quickly and how well the work was done. They were extremely polite and very professional. After they left, we had a good rain here, I went out and checked the functioning of both gutters they worked on, they were working perfectly, with for the newly re-sloped gutter was a first since the house was made in 2007, as it was installed new then with the wrong slope. I was very pleased with the professional people I interacted with at Whatcom Gutter and Roof Cleaning, I strongly recommend them to anyone needing gutter repairs on their house!"

"The gutter cleaning piece of the job was fine - performed quickly with no issues. The pressure washing, however, was horrible. The technician damaged some vegetables in our garden and almost ruined a gate that we have on a short fence (it is still wobbly after). The one technician spent about an hour pressure washing the back concrete patio, probably about 300 sq feet of space. While it was still wet he took pictures to use for the “job done” photos. I have attached photos of the concrete after everything had dried. I reached out twice via email with these pictures before receiving the invoice. Marco told me that “someone in dispatch will contact you.” They never did. I received the invoice about a week after the job. There was a zip file with job photos attached, half of which were not my house at all. When I was contacted about my satisfaction with the job, I told them that I wasn’t. I had sent pictures of the pressure washing job, detailing the issues that I had with the work, and had received absolutely zero response. I was assured someone would contact me from dispatch to schedule a revisit. No one ever did. When I called the main line I was told they would reach out. I did not want to bother with it any longer. Completely frustrating experience. I paid the invoice because I did not want to argue more about the job or have any kind of late payment. I was frustrated at the lack of communication and professionalism when I contacted them with a very reasonable issue. I would not recommend using Whatcom Gutter and Roof Cleaning. The pressure wash was horrible and was more than half the cost of the invoice. Not worth the money at all."
