Reviews of Veterinary Emergency Group
"My dog had unexpectedly become uncomfortable and would not use the bathroom. My boyfriend and I became concerned, and brought him here. Within the span of 2.5 hours, they have given him an exam, x-rays, found the issue, and problem-solved it with numerous options based on our comfort and financial means. After a very, very extensive surgery, we paid upwards of $9000 for the exam, x-rays, surgery, fluids, medicine, food, and overnight care for two nights. For what the surgery was and how involved it was, this price seems about right. We knew he was in good hands when they promptly updated us throughout the entire surgery process and overnight care. We received no less than 3 or 4 calls per day about how he was doing. We got to visit him. I wish I remember the names but the two head, female doctors showed so much care for this dog, that I have only seen reflected in my boyfriend, I, and our family. They made the entire process lighthearted, calling us to tell us they named him the “little potato” because of how dense he is. We walked in to bring him home and most of the staff was telling us how much they loved having him for the past few nights. We are currently 13 days into a 14 day healing timeline and it’s going great. I called about three times a day for the first two days of healing with little anxieties and they never seemed annoyed or burdened; they truly want to help. They have emailed us, asking how he is doing. They also refunded us $700 that was not used for his care, which I thought to be incredibly honest and respectful. If either of my dogs have an emergency again, I know exactly where I am going."
"My dog ran into a fence and made a large wound on her leg. It was a Sunday morning and our local vet was closed. Googled a few places, found two. The first one had a 3 hour waiting period. This one took me right away. Went there and we were welcomed warmly. It took a little to get the estimates done but after all of that was cleared the service went smoothly. Went there at 7sh am and was done by 11sh am. The place looks great! The staff is nice and I really liked the open space concept where other patients were treated right in front of everyone else."
"This was genuinely such an amazing vet. I had been denied by 2 other emergency vets before I had come to this location and the second I walked in I was met with help. They were gentle with my cat and explained all of the possible reasons for his health episode to me. The staff just absolutely adored my cat and would offer me snacks, drinks, and even pillows and blankets for me while I waited test results. They were lovely all around and I could not be more happy with their care. They turn an incredibly stressful situation into one to remember positively. My cat is happy and so am I !!"
"Emergencies are always hard but the staff at VEG made it as stress free as possible. The staff was kind, respectful and very competent. They treated my pet with great care and compassion. I was kept informed of each step of the care and questions were answered specifically. The facility is clean and organized. I’m happy to say that my pet is recovering well and I’m very thankful to the staff at VEG for the care and support they provided. I highly recommend VEG for any pet emergencies."
