"I was in the process of transferring my old Digital8 home video tapes over to digital video and burning them to DVD. (An over 2 month long process by this point). When one of my important tapes from Christmas 2002 broke, I didn't know where to send it. I couldn't find anyone local in MA and repairing the tape myself didn't work out, but Pacific Video Repair came up in a Google search. I decided to send the tape out of of desperation and I'm glad I did! Within about a week they had repaired my tape and digitized it for me for a reasonable price ($60). Best part about them is that they are honest in thier pricing. When they initially evaluated the tape they thought it had mold damage and informed me that it would cost about $30 more to repair it. I had agreed to pay the new price. 2 days later once they had actually opened the tape and repaired it, they realized it wasn't as bad as they thought and reduced the priced back to the orginal $60 quote. The quality of the recording is just as good as what I had been able to capture myself with the other working tapes."

"I have had some tapes from my childhood that I had been meaning to convert but I hadn't found any place that I felt I could trust until I found Pacific Video repair. I felt hesitant at first, especially since it was in another state, but felt more secure when I read all the awesome reviews. I had tapes that had gone to Brazil where it was humid and hot and then brought back. These tapes I had little hope for. I'm sure there was a bit of footage that was lost, but pacific video repair was not only able to retrieve a great amount from each tape I sent , but they also did an awesome job in converting.
