Fresh Start Marine Detailing

"Hired Fresh start Marine detail for my 24' sundeck, paid deposit then waited for the scheduled day of detailing. On scheduled day they don't show up, I call Gordon and he says there are busy but he will keep me posted. 6 days go by no call no show nothing! finally get a text saying they are coming out to detail boat following day, im out of area that day but return in the evening to go check out boat. I find boat unfinished, uncovered and there equipment all over strewn about boat including pressure washer still connected to water line that is on and sitting on my upholstery. I call Gordon immediately and say why isn't boat finished and completely uncovered overnight with your equipment carelessly strewn about boat. He says "whats the concern". I say the concern is that you missed several scheduled dates with no call, no txt, nothing, then you uncovered my boat did a small amount of work then left it uncovered over night with your equipment stored on my interior! Gordon says it was left unfinished and uncovered because they were asked to leave marina at closing time ( Dagmars Marina closes at 7pm) I check Dagmars surveillance video and find Gordons crew comes late afternoon and leaves two hours later aprox 4 hrs before marina closing time. With his lies exposed from video and careless treatment of boat I ask that Gordon refrain from any further work and refund my deposit. Gordon replies that they will remove there equipment but no refund because over 3/4 of detail has been completed. I respond with the boat is about 1/4 if that completed and the video shows the amount of work completed. To date Gordon and Fresh Start Marine Detail has gone dark no response to phone or text nothing. Update: Gordon has now finally responded, he has posted some pics on his web site that show the small amount of area completed on starboard side boat. Unfortunately in his response he has missed the reason for request of refund and termination of his services. 1. several missed scheduled start dates with no show no call 2. leaving boat uncovered overnight, detail equipment strewn about with pressure washer on and leaking water in boat and stating the reason for the above was due to being kicked out of Marina at closing time. 3. Review of Marina video not matching Gordons statement of crew arrival time or departure time. Gordon, these are the reasons you were asked to refund deposit and refrain from further work on boat. Its not harassment or belligerence its simply a review of the facts many of which are supported by actual video."

"Fresh Start detailed my 20 year old boat last week and I can’t believe how great it looks now! They made it look like new inside and out. The hull was very oxidized and smudged from rubbing on the dock and they got it back to shining. Seats on deck were full of black spots/stain and they are gone!
