"Since Vancouver is a smaller city/suburb, each witchy shop here is a surprising find. There aren't many stores here that specialize mainly in the metaphysical, so it's wonderful to have Celestial Awakenings around as an option. Not only do they have a wonderful selection of candles, soaps, and especially crystals, but they have other items too like journals as well as events that they offer. The outside of the store honestly looks a bit scary like a haunted house, though I think that's part of the appeal. Interestingly enough, the inside is very welcoming. My only complaint is that there aren't too many metaphysical-related books inside. I'm more of a word witch, so magick books are my passion and I love exploring libraries. I was able to buy THE PATHFINDER by Chad Diamond Dann, and I met his wife behind the cashier counter, who was incredibly sweet. I loved the vibe of the store and would like to come back. It's an excellent place to buy gifts for my open-minded friends."
