"Rene and Blue Stone Labor completely rebuilt 25-30 feet of a natural stone retaining wall for me in rainy, cold March 2022. They also backfilled, re-graded and machine-tamped a large flat area behind the retaining wall. They moved an incredible amount of heavy stone & gravel to accomplish this. The old wall was collapsing, and I can see that the new wall by 'Blue Stone Labor' will last a very, very long time. "Rene and his team have done both a hardscape project (building a paving stone pathway that is wheelchair-friendly) and a deck repair project (replacing rotted posts, rails, and floorboards) that were completed in a highly professional and aesthetically pleasing manner. Rene truly approaches his work as an art! It may take several weeks for him to find a place in his schedule to get to your project because he is very busy--but that's always a good sign, and he is worth the wait. After hiring another supposed "handyman" off of nextdoor.com and having to rip out his extremely substandard work, it was a huge relief and pleasure to find Rene and Blue Stone General Labor.
