Astoria Skate Park

"Fun cruiser park. The whole thing slopes down to the large square bowl. Couldn't really keep enough speed to hit the upper area as much as I wanted. A couple of areas leak some water/sludge even on a hot day. Side note, great view and appreciated the breeze off the water..."

"The bowl here is insane- it’s very steep and there’s profanity and illicit images painted in various places around the drop-in. This is not a great park to learn on. The park is lovely though."

"This is basically a bix ex-swimmingbpool with no easy access, so, though I'm sure it's great for older, more experienced skate boarders, it may not be so great for less experienced boarders. When I was there, a couple of 5-6 year-olds were using it as a climbing challenge and we're having fun, until mom had to climb in to get them out. Then, it was a bit of a challenge for her as well."
