"Eron Cannon and Mark Melter went after me on behalf of their client Allstate. I’m a non lawyer and I represented myself against them in a Federal Court trial. Allstate paid them over $3 million dollars in attorneys fees and they asked for over $15 million dollars at trial. The court awarded $150,000 trebled and @$200,000 in attorneys fees. I’m sure if I could have afforded a lawyer, they would have received nothing by way of a judgement. These attorneys were dishonest to say the least and clearly they weren’t very skilled considering I represented myself and Allstate’s shareholders had to pay them over $3 million dollars in attorneys fees just to get a tiny judgement. Not only were they dishonest and made up their own narrative to try and make me look bad, but this became a personal vendetta for these pukes rather than a case that made sense for Allstate’s shareholders. This is a prime example of a big insurance company wasting shareholders money on a personal vendetta case. In the midst of this, they broke up my family and forced me into bankruptcy. All for what? A settlement of 500k that Mark Melter brags about in his bio which is also dishonest in his wording. BTW... Allstate spent another $250,000 in attorneys fees post judgement to collect a 500k settlement. We were going to pay the entire $700k before Melter got involved. These crooks charged Allstate’s shareholders somewhere in the neighborhood of $3,500,000.00 to collect $500,000. This is what your insurance premiums go towards.... outrageous attorney bills that financially don’t make sense. Overpriced lawyers who brag about losing millions of dollars for publicly traded companies. Great job guys. Keep it up! And then to top it off, the federal judge who handed down the verdict, now works for these scumbags. Corrupt from the get go...."
