"Ashley helped me sort and organize my family keepsakes after my son left home for college and I inherited memorabilia after my grandma passed away. It was an emotional and heavy undertaking, that took us weeks because of the volume of stuff I had acquired, but Ashley was gentle, kind, patient, so efficient and helpful. I learned a lot from Ashley (and they apply as much to my inner space as my home): 1) It is okay to be a mess sometimes. Organizing has allowed me to get messy dealing with life and then easily reset to my safe, clean space. 2) I don’t have to hold onto things that do not serve me. This applies to everything from gifts to heirlooms to extra vegetable peelers. Letting go of things also released the emotions I tied to those things. I kept saying to Ashley after each session that I felt lighter. It was amazing. 3) I can hold onto things I love - it is my decision. There is room for the things that bring joy. I have memory boxes for the things I don’t need out all the time but that are special to me. 4) I don’t have to deal with everything at once. For all the things I am not sure about or I am simply not ready to deal with can be set aside out of the way for a different time."
