"I recommend individuals who pay out of pocket or receive VA educational benefits to refer to Ann Bjork for any and all financial education and assistance! Ann from financial aid is going to ensure you're financially prepared for whichever program you choose to take part in. She is extremely kind and helpful. Having already used up 100% of my GI Bill, Ann (Former Military herself) wanted to serve as an advocate for me. She was willing to make efforts to get in touch with the VA to see if there were any further benefits that could be obtained on my behalf. I am not too educated on student loans and all that comes with it. Thankfully, Ann made everything simple to understand. She took the time to make sure I understood the process and it’s entirety until I was comfortable to move forward with a finalized financial plan. Thank you Ann for the help!"
"I’m currently in the process of applying for the dental hygiene program which very recently opened up in Portland. YAY! I was lucky enough to have the BEST admissions rep Lucy, who has been beyond helpful and there to answer any an every question I’ve had. The program director Hannah is absolutely amazing, she made it very apparent that she wants everyone to succeed and has created a community to make a successful dental hygiene career attainable. You can’t beat completing a hygiene program in 17 months! Thank you Concorde!"
"I have had the best time working with Brittani in advising. She has made the process of signing up for school so seamless, and easy. She goes the extra mile for students, is easy to get in touch with, and very knowledgeable and kind."
"Luci Gray the Senior Admissions Representative is the worst at her job! I went on campus to talk about my interest in one of the programs offered and all she did was try and talk me into an easier program. Luci kept going on about how this program I came to her about is very difficult and that only a few people got in. Although I appreciate the honesty I did not drive all the way to the campus to talk about the easiest option. I came into this meeting knowing what I wanted and very excited to talk about the next steps of starting school here and instead I left feeling extremely discouraged by this “counselor”."
"The RT program at Concorde is an accelerated program, though it may sound challenging, the instructors that guide the students throughout the program fully prepare them to pass the boards and become competent RTs. Jessica K. is one of the instructors that lays down the foundation and fundamentals of the program, even if you are entering this program with no health care experience, her patience and passion will definitely excite you about this field. In the mechanical ventilation term, it is taught by Joshua C., which is the most challenging term by far. However, it is the most important term as his class encourages and motivates students to think critically. This was my favorite term by far. Then the last two terms are taught by Steve N., he is the instructor that will lay out the framework and strategy towards preparing/passing for your boards. All of my clinical sites have been insightful and I appreciate how our clinical director listens to the needs/wants of each student to place them in a site that fits your personality. I highly recommend this program, it will not be easy, but you truly are in good hands with instructors that genuinely care for your success."
