"Saw an amazing show! Sat on tiny little seats. But the staff was so kind. Very cool venue."
"An unassuming facade doesn't begin to do justice to one of the most important gallery spaces in Portland: the PICA. My first visit to this gallery was emotionally and intellectually challenging. The current installation used every bit of available space from wall to wall, floor to ceiling. As I made my way into, through and around each segment of the various works, I was transported through Portland's prophetic past. That journey gave much needed context to this city's present and revealed the spectors of Portland's future. The PICA is conveniently located very near public transit. Come to the PICA, see something unforgettably real."
"You will find great cutting edge exhibits produced by young artists. A lot of installations as well as wall art. Always worth the cost and always challenging your perspective. Cleansing our narrow mindedness."
"TBA fest has been awesome, and PICA is a great vessel for art & culture for Portland. I also love the ominous blue LEDs on the ceiling. Looking forward to performing there in the future! "
"PICA presents one of the few great contemporary arts festivals in the world every September. They also do tons of work in our community to build arts engagement for all ages, including offering exposure that Portland artists would never receive without PICA. It is not a "Nice loft style place for art" as some very confused person stated. It is scrappy non-profit with almost no budget that punches above it's weight providing entertainment, enlightenment, engagement, and opportunity to our community."
