"In about 1992 or '93 I paid Melanie to get a divorce. She kept sending me notes and leaving voice mails stating we had to discuss this matter more and charged me $75. every time I responded. This went on for a while. It drove the price of a simple divorce sky high. We went to court, he didn't show up and the judge granted the divorce. Melanie never drew up the papers or just didn't mail them to me. Life went on and here it is almost 2018 and I still don't have divorce papers!! I never even checked to see if I am divorced.
