"I came here from my home in Hawaii. My ancestors came to Jamestown in the 1600s, and I've been visiting since 1966. I was stunned at the split with the adjacent nstion park and shocked at the price to enter even though I joined some years back. I must have missed the memo! AND the cafe has doubled its prices and GREATLY REDUCED QUALITY OF FOOD. Staff there and at the money gate very unfriendly. The person st the museum desk officious. In fact, no one was welcoming. Of course, the church was closed with no warning. At least some new info signs had been installed since I was there 2 years ago.i appreciate the work being done and interpretation and Preservation. But I now since a bit of arrogance and there is no excuse for that rudeness!!!! I was so angry I took no photos."

"We visited the Historic Jamestowne site, the museum, called the Archaearium, and had a special behind-the-scenes tour with acheologists who are working in the Jamestown Discovery Project. Absolutely fantastic experience! Artifacts from past digs are on display in the museum, and thousands upon thousands of artifacts that are not on display are still being examined, catalogued and safely preserved for future reference.
