"Nice place to visit, lovely well kept site with a lot of history. Beautiful views, helpful staff. Two different tour types short or complete you can drive or walk if you like. Make it a weekend trip and visit this place with the kids. Wheelchair friendly, a lot of parking, great price. Awesome time. Not miss this opportunity to learn some history."
"Thought we would breeze in and out in a hour. Not quite. Ended up here a good chunk of the day. Very interesting place. On our way out we even realized we missed a huge part on the southern end of it. Plan for a good 3 hours at least."
"The museum is awesome. Clean, multiple displays with explanations, and high tech. The outdoors show a nice reconstitution of the historical settlement scenery with actors who do demos answer questions. Great experience for my kids."
"The Rediscovery trail includes many stops: memorial church, Pocahontas statue, captain John Smith statue, the shrine and a museum along James River. There is a cafe halfway for snack break. Plan about 2 hours for the historical trail."
"If you get the chance to visit, I recommend coming here early so you can explore this historical place with little to no people! The staff is very friendly and we got to see so much from the museum located inside the park! It all took an hour or a bit longer but it’s definitely worth coming to enjoy a bit of history as it was one of the first English settlements in North America!"
