"High School seems to be a strong school. Much of the awesomeness at the high school has to do with the connection between staff and students. They are an outreach school - backpack project (they feed hungry kids over the weekend), clothing closet, etc. Principal and VPs are solid and just as connected to kids as the teachers. Pretty normal to have the teachers and admins constantly spending time with the kids. It's the Hogwarts of Portland...a little crazy and a little magical....and full of heart."
"A great school providing academic excellence for my 3rd child. I am very appreciative of their teaching and modeling for our youth. Parkrose strengthened my children for college and provided a positive long term effect for adulthood."
"I went to a neighborhood cleanup at the school and it was organized down to the last detail. As a side note, the donation was voluntary and if I would have had money I would have donated to this worthy cause. That being said, the shorter of the two women was great, just flagging me through but...I was icily asked for my donation by the other woman. I told her I was so sorry I had no money and skulked off."
"It was a good school they had a variety of classes and they were all seriously to the point"
"PRHS is a school that suffers from several systemic problems. The school itself is new and has some great facilities. However, a lack of funding and behavioral problems in school, has lead to a faculty that is stretched too thin and disenchanted."
