Reviews
"I am a high school student of olympic penisula academy, and I have been here since the 6th grade. This school opens my mind, it interests me. Unlike other schools I learn the deeper meanings of the concepts at hand. The teachers are engaging, focused on improving each student individually. The teachers are also friends who offer support in the hardest bumps in your week. The school offers mondays and Wednesdays to extracurricular activities including drama, multiple art classes (sewing for example), singing/choir, and sometimes beneficial classes that will help your child in the real world (one cool class being a forensics class I took). These extracurricular activities are chosen by your child, based on their interests and things they are passionate about. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the days for state required education (math, science, literature, and history) and the teachers are beyond outstanding in teaching each student as a group and individually. Friday is a day the students get to work on homework assignments and their own homeschool choices (im learning marine biology in my freetime). But the most important part of OPA is that OPA is a family. We care for you, teachers bond with students and parents to keep the student on track. Students bond with students (as usual), but in OPA i have created bonds with students stronger then any other school I have attended. In conclusion this school has a variety of benefits to the student's education, and it is not only a school its a family."
