"It’s a good disc golf course. I’m just surprised the city can’t keep it in better shape. I’d guess local vandals wreck it? If you’re a local or passing through, Rockwood is simply not the greatest precinct in town."
"Rockwood Park is a 9-hole disc golf course that attracts some of the best discgolfers from Gresham, and any given day, you can find yourself rubbing shoulders with them. I enjoy watching the many tournaments and series the park organizes throughout the entire year for the more skilled players to earn prizes and street cred. You can often find some of the best known discgolfers like Brandon G., Mike A., and Ryan the hippie just hanging out together on a quiet Wednesday afternoon! Rockwood provides a clean park, with a restroom open during summer months, and ample parking. It also offers a play area, a basketball court, and open field for dogs to run around. But the park is best known for the high caliber of disc throwers that frequent the place daily."
"Pretty easy course in the city. Seems relatively safe, the disc golfers were all nice but the park had quite a few other 'events' going on at the same time. The course is pretty simple and good for beginners. The tees and pins are very close together, which causes some dangerous shots sometimes towards other players."
"Great place for a quick 9 holes. I think the longest hole was about 325’. The place was way cleaner than the last time I played here. There’s a bit of graffiti on the fences as expected in this town. Mid morning on a Saturday was a family friendly time to play. Takes about 40 minutes to play strolling about."
"Had a nice time throwing the discs around. Rockwood is nice, mellow course that is, for the most part, well marked. The other people playing were nice and well behaved. Short course with nothing over 300 feet. Good for beginners."
