Reviews of The Melting Pot - Bellevue
"Came here with some friends to try it as we have never gone before and probably won't go back. We 2 fondues and and meat platter. Each fondue you get a tray of bread, fruit, and vegetables. The bread is stale and average nothing special and the rest as you expect. The cheese was the same, didn't taste anything more special than what you could get at the local grocery store. We also ordered the meat plate with beef, salmon, shrimp and chicken. That was good but for what the price you pay it wasn't really worth it. Overall I wouldn't recommend it and you could probably find better food somewhere else. If you really want fondue make it at home."
"My experience at The Melting Pot was a mix of highs and lows, leaning more towards the bittersweet side. I chose to celebrate my birthday here and opted for the Classic Cheese Pot as the appetizer and the Global Veggie for the main course. For drinks, I ordered the Love Martini and Berry Mojito. The appetizer involved a bowl placed in front, with white wine and cheese mixed with garlic. Served with green apple and bread on the side, the cheese dip, unexpectedly, turned out to be quite bitter. The main course featured a veggie broth with additional veggies to be added after boiling. While it was tasty, it didn't leave me feeling very satisfied. The overall experience resembled eating steamed veggies at an upscale table, and I wouldn't recommend it. Among the drinks, the Berry Mojito stood out positively, while the Love Martini fell short, tasting more like a grape-flavored Red Bull. The ambience was decent, though not exceptional, and the hefty bill of 105 dollars for veggies and a single stick of bread left me questioning the value for money. Additionally, the service was notably slow, adding to the overall mixed feelings about the visit."
"Tonight I had an incredible dinner for two at this location. Our server Chelsea was amazing. She went to great lengths to make us comfortable. She was sure to make sure nothing being served would be an issue for my peanut allergy, she gave amazing recommendations on what sauce to try and helped answer any questions we had. The food itself was phenomenal, I would recommend the land and sea entree with the mojo broth. Also you cannot go wrong with yellow curry and green goddess. I will definitely be back to enjoy the experience all over again."
"A fun experience with delicious food. Our favorite courses were the cheese fondue and the dessert fondue. A great place to share a special memory! The Yin & Yang cocktail is my favorite!"
