"Came here for a girls' night on a friday evening, and the ambiance was perfect. It was empty when we arrived 6pm but filled up as the evening went on. The bonus was free parking because they opened the gates after 8 pm. Cocktails were delicious, but the entrees were disappointing. We got the truffle fries, and the portions size was huge! We also got the Beet Salad and everything, but the beets were good. The beets were extremely overcooked. On the other hand, the handmade pasta tortellini we ordered was unfortunately undercooked and lacked much needed flavor. We also got the short rib that was extremely fatty and came with a strange white paste. However, the hashed carrot was well seasoned and quite delicious. Although the entrees weren't good, I would recommend a visit for the cute ambiance and the drinks."
"My fiancé and I went to eat here for Valentine’s Day, they had a five course meal, and it was absolutely fantastic! well worth the money and created a wonderful evening for us! We can’t wait to come back and try their regular menu! 10/10 recommend! The food also came so quickly which was surprising since it was a holiday and very busy! all of the service workers were also very kind !"
"I visited Lakehouse for lunch and dinner and here's the lowdown: For lunch, I had the golden tomato soup with galangal and ginger, which was a hit. However, the guanciale mac and cheese didn't quite hit the mark for me. It had way too much cheese that wasn't mixed well with the sauce. As it cooled, it turned into a cheesy lump, and it was quite peppery. The peanut butter bar for dessert, though, was fantastic. I am not a fan of dried coconut so I wouldn’t order again because of that but the caramelized peanuts were a winner. During dinner, we tried some appetizers. The heirloom carrots were tasty but heavily seasoned, a bit too spicy for my liking. The fried Brussels sprouts with aioli were my top pick. The ahi tuna prosciutto was decent, but the octopus was a bit too fishy. For mains, we had the bone-in ribeye, which tasted great but had more fat than expected after cooking for 72 hours. The coffee parpadelle had a lot of potential and I was so excited to try it.. unfortunately it was overcooked, making the pasta clump together and difficult to eat. On the service front, the staff was attentive, making for a pleasant experience"
