"I have been part of this parish and school family since 2003 in the capacity of volunteer, parent, and art specialist. I have watched the school in grow in leaps and bounds over this time to improve educational and spiritual outcomes for all of our families. We have an active Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion panel that includes parents, educators, and administrators to make sure every voice is heard and every child reaches their potential. We embrace our rich Catholic heritage through art, music, religion class, and our interactions with one another. This is a diverse, vibrant community that welcomes all."

"My daughter went here from Pre-K through 6th grade. We love the parents and kids of Holy Redeemer. We are not impressed by their new leadership who refuses to respond to our emails after multiple tries. After all these years I sadly cannot recommend this school until they get their administration in order."

"It’s a decent school. Went there as a transfer student from a public school in 5th grade and stayed there until graduation. It’s a highly sophisticated school and they had very good ratings when I joined. It seems though service has dropped and yes, I can agree that some of the staff are a tad bit racially biased, and most of them are indeed atheist and looking for a decent paying job. I’ll have to say that the principal that had been working with that school ruthlessly for hours on end is an honorable person. She was the person that built the school up, despite its old fashioned teaching methods. Frankly, if I were to visit again, I would enjoy the stay. Thank you, Mrs. Ranieri (if that is how you spell your name, it never became familiar to me), for leading this school with all you had."

"I have had 5 children at Holy Redeemer Catholic School in North Portland. Limited options for quality schools is a major challenge for many families raising school age children in North Portland. There are more options for younger elementary age students but we have seen so many great families relocate when facing limited middle and high school options. We are so grateful for the family like atmosphere at Holy Redeemer. It is an excellent environment nurtured by Christian faith, diversity, and a responsive leadership. Holy Redeemer offers a fantastic option for families who are looking for alternatives for elementary and middle schools in North Portland."
