New Farm Montessori is a certified child care home located in the Arbor Lodge neighborhood of North Portland, Oregon. Since 2005, we have been providing a nurturing and peaceful environment for children aged 2.5-6 years. "This is the third year that our son has been going to New Farm. He has benefitted from the motessori approach to learning. Mandy is a wonderful guide and he comes home with new skills all the time. We also love the access to the outdoors that they provide. There is a little back yard farm with chickens, a bunny, a garden and edible fruit to snack on when in season. They also take frequent trips to the nearby park for play. Another huge benefit to New Farm is that the class shares a home cooked lunch every day together - and from the amazing smells coming out of the kitchen -Jeff is a great cook! Our son has been exposed to more foods and expanded what he will eat!"
