"We went in to trade in and upgrade our phones. Daniel started helping us and quickly was ‘ready’ for us to approve. Except he never asked us a single question other than what color we wanted. And when I asked him what we were agreeing to, then he shared that he’d taken the liberty of signing us up for extended warranty coverage. And then he shared that he was going to give us models we didn’t ask for. Then he shared that we needed to have our phones shipped. At that point we asked him to cancel the transaction so we could just order online. Then we left. Then we found out he didn’t cancel the transaction and instead left our account locked and no one (customer service, other stores, us, even his store, we contacted and tried all of them) could unlock our account so we could get new phones. We spent multiple hours driving around town and on the phone to no avail. When I returned to his store, he refused to even help me, had his coworker try, and never apologized or even acknowledged the mess he created. He is terrible at customer service and shouldn’t be employed. We now just need to ‘wait and see’ if our account gets reset so we can actually order new phones."
"I received some of the best customer service that I have in a very long time anywhere from Sequoia at the Lombard store. She is incredibly knowledgeable and instilled a lot of confidence as I went through the somewhat stressful task of transferring from an old Samsung to a new iPhone. She was calm, understanding, compassionate, and good-humored about the entire process. She took time to educate me about my new device. Just as importantly, she never made me feel like I was taking up more of her time than I ought to have been and was gracious about every request that I made. Sequoia is a fabulous store manager! Any employer would be fortunate to have her!"
"Absolutely excellent customer service. I’ve never had a more pleasant and expeditious experience switching over to a new carrier. I needed to switch over my family plan of 7(!) numbers and Sequoia helped the process go super smoothly. She communicated how the process would go every step of the way and made me feel at ease since I was on a time crunch. Sequoia is a wonderful store manager and she absolutely deserves all the praise and acknowledgement!"
