"I live clear out in Hillsboro so it’s a special treat when I get to come to the Alibi. It’s one of those rare bars that you can trust will make a great cocktail. They don’t have idiots behind the bar splashing drinks together willy-nilly. Oh no, you order an old fashioned and it’s not only going to be good, it’s going to be the same no matter which ‘tender makes it. This is how you know you’ve found a great cocktail bar. Karaoke is fun, and the food is good. But really, you’re coming here for the great tiki cocktails. Not sugary messes either; legit tiki drinks! Boozy with complex flavors."

"Went with a group of friends this weekend for the first time. This is a longtime portland staple, I’ve just never stopped by even though I’ve always wanted to go. We all had a good time, the tiki experience certainly delivered. We went mid-day and each of us got separate drinks, basically going through the entire menu. As is typical, the tiki drinks are stiff and not too expensive considering the alcohol content but would’ve loved some discount drink prices during happy hour. The interior is fun, looks great for how old it is. Only one bartender so service was definitely slow and she didn’t seem overly thrilled to be there, which was the only downside."
