"One star- I read about this schools horrible treatment of children, and how the school sent home one distraught mother's child in diapers, (and no pants) after he had an accident. They embarrassed and ridiculed a special needs child throughout the day, and it is completely unacceptable. The staff responsible, and the school, need reparations and repercussions."
"First you excuse placing special needs children in a box, and then you send a grown potty trained child home in a diaper? Are you serious? The gym didn't have extra clothing? You could not spare a few moments to call the mother for a change of clothing? What sort of sick joke was this? This is disgusting and I literally want to cry every time I think of what that poor boy felt during the rest of the day and on the school bus. You humiliated this child and should be ashamed of your staff. Obviously the teacher is the blame, but the rest of the staff saw this boy walking around and did nothing. I would not even leave my toddler to walk around in just a diaper let alone a child in elementary school. As for people out there wondering what I'm talking about, a child that was trusted in their care had an accident (every child has an accident from time to time) and instead of calling for spare clothing or finding spare clothing they put a child in a diaper and made him walk around for the rest of the day and ride the school bus home in just a diaper. A special needs child that deserves extra special care was treated as an inconvenience and in my Opinion specifically singled out to be humiliated otherwise I can't imagine why somebody would do that to a child. This administration needs to be cleaned out and replaced with teachers that maintain the basic human organs such as a brain and a heart."
"I'm so disappointed in your school/staff! You are very lucky this wasn't my child you sent home in a diaper. You have just scared this child for life in a way you'll never know!! The children will ALWAYS remember him as the child in the diaper. I'm not one to be sue happy, but I hope they sue the crap out of your school!"
"I read what happened to that young child in your care and I am appalled at the treatment of putting him in a diaper. School is supposed to be a safe haven for children and a place where bullying should be punished, yet this child was not safe and was bullied by an adult. Moreover, not one other adult stepped up to be an advocate to protect him and rectify the situation. Not only should your staff be ashamed, they should be severely reprimanded for their actions to the point of dismissal with no chance of being hired in another school district. An apology to this boy and his family will not be enough and you will need to find a solution to rectify the wrong inflicted. The public is watching you from all over the country, you better fix this quickly and with great care. Until this is rectified, your reputation is of disgust and grave disappointment."
"This school should be be shut down! Have you people ever been around children at all! What kind of jerk puts a kid in a diaper when there's a Walmart down the road? Moreover, why wasn't a parent/guardian called? Why didn't any staff look for something, anything? Ask another student if they had extra? You're probably pretty lucky I wasn't the mother of this poor child, you wouldn't like how I'd handle it. You all should be sued!"
