Skagit YMCA: Y Kids @ Laventure Early Learning Center is a childcare institution located at 915 South Laventure Road in Mount Vernon, Washington, United States. With over a dozen sites serving children from infancy to 5th grade, Skagit Y Childcare aims to meet the diverse needs of families in the Skagit community. Our programs provide a safe environment for children to learn and develop positive values, guided by qualified staff dedicated to their safety and personal growth. Our Early Learning Centers are designed to expand imaginations and instill positive values in children aged 1 month to 6 years, ensuring kindergarten readiness. We offer both wraparound childcare and full-time preschool care, with part-time and full-time options available. Additionally, we offer blended preschool programs for children ages 3-4, focusing on developmental needs and kindergarten readiness. Our school-age before- and after-school programs provide homework support, physical activity, snacks, and enrichment activities for children in grades K-5. We partner with schools in the Mount Vernon, Burlington-Edison, Sedro-Woolley, and Anacortes school districts. Families with a Family Membership at the Skagit Y receive discounts on program fees. We accept DSHS subsidies and offer scholarships to qualifying families. The Skagit Valley Family YMCA is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating positive community change through relationships that empower the mind, body, and spirit of all members.
