"I saw some bad reviews here but they took great care of me I detoxed there last month and haven't relapsed yet. Thanks to all the great staff members at Fora health. I couldn't have done it alone"

"Medical team here is unbelievably horrible. There's no system to reach them and they'll "cookie cutter" your care with zero communication. They ignorantly ignore your outside PCP as though it's a power struggle while you suffer waiting to see who wins. I have dietary issues and starved while here because they won't let me have my Ensure. They are very petty here. Med doses change or move times with no explination. And always when thery're gone for the day. They don't want to have to deal with you."

"Previously had a good experience taking my partner here, but last night my partner called and said they refused to give him his full dose of zoloft. I had dropped off his medication previously that day and carefully explained the dose several times, and it's written on the bottle. Partner called me extremely upset and agitated they would not listen to him about the dosing and how important it is. I call on his behalf to figure out the problem and was met with rude staff brushing me off. You can imagine how damaging cutting someone's dose in HALF is when they deal with mental health issues and are trying to get better only to be ridiculed and ignored by staff who think they know better than the primary care doctors who prescribed the meds. Seems like some people here take their jobs seriously but unfortunately not all of them."

"Fora gave me my life back. Most of the bad reviews here are either from people who haven’t cured their addict mindset, or their friends and loved ones who enable them. I’m assuming the majority of people reading these reviews are suffering addicts weary or scared of the place. Don’t be. Government funded detox centers are not FUN, but that’s a fair assumption I’m sure we’ve all already made. But I was given a bed, food, and the meds I needed to safely detox from a crippling alcohol addiction. You can check out any time you want, nobody will force you to stay there (they legally can’t). They have various meds for the anxiety and panic attacks, meds to counteract any physical problems from detox (tremors, blood pressure etc) and plenty of stuff (upon request) to make you sleepy should you have insomnia. I was going through a handle (1.75ML) of vodka in about a day and a half, I expected my stay to be pure hell. Truthfully, I basically slept for 5 days straight. Sharing a room with a dozen other people kicking various substances sucks, yes. But if you truly want to get clean, you won’t care and you’ll be glad to be there. If you’re complaining about a lost jacket (I’d burn my entire wardrobe to stay sober) or the lousy food (you’ll have a low appetite anyways) or blah blah, you’re probably missing the point. Fora was the beginning of my 13 months and counting journey into sobriety and I’m eternally grateful to them and the staff. I never encountered any rudeness, but if you do, remember that YOU got yourself into this mess, and THEY are the ones trying to get you out of it. I hope I never set foot into Fora again, for obvious reasons. But I’m sure as hell glad I did."

"By far the best experience I've had in detox. I've gone to koda and Hooper several times in the past And hands down it exceeded them all. They took almost everybody that morning in to detox, 7 of us I believe and within about 30 minutes had all of our things accomplished we needed to do before we could go lay down and rest. That consisted of talking about our insurances, talking about our medications ,going through what products we brought from home and getting products from them like toiletries and what not . It was a very fast smooth process you can tell that they really worked on that form of process. Inside the detox room it was great , it was low lit, quiet, there was a little space area to watch movies and eat snacks that they always provide for you. and then you had your nice beds, very comfortable in another Section of the room. Staff was very nice and caring, non judgmental just seemed to really want to make everybody stay there very stress and care free . Would highly recommend to anybody that's looking to get Healthier."
