"We were vacationing with our adult children and the group chose this for an outing. Historical/informational displays well done and the woman working was friendly and informative as well. We each bought a treat of some sort to take away, enjoying world-class cheese, chocolate, wine, jam, Coffee table book. Even the dried cranberries were much better (fresher?) than what you buy at the grocery store. Well worth the stop!!"
"The cranberry ice cream was delicious! Highly recommended you stop there and try the yummy cranberry ice cream, beautiful red, good price! They also have other cute things about cranberry, very warm and welcoming, can learn some knowledge about cranberry."
"Lovely, free, and interesting museum. I never really thought much about cranberry farming, but I was intrigued and have been 4 times now. I was lucky enough to be in town during the cranberry festival and actually see the crew out harvesting. There is a very nice gift shop with lots of goodies. The cranberry ice cream made in-house is amazing. And I love the cranberry lotion and always have to make sure I have a bottle. The cranberry bogs are all around the museum, and there are picnic tables and restrooms on site. The building is also handicapped accessible. It's very much worth a stop!"
"Super cute free museum and very interesting. The lady there was so friendly and answered a lot of my questions. Lots of cranberry themed gifts and souvenirs. They did a great job with preserving the history of the area and explaining the methods of a cranberry farm. Dogs aren’t allowed in the museum but I was able to take her outside walking the path next to the fields."
"I always enjoy stopping by a farm to learn about the production of food, and this Is an unique place to visit cranberry bogs with a museum and a gift shop. A self-guided tour of the bogs starts with a map in the mailbox in the front of the gift shop. You will see bogs with different varieties of cranberries, and some areas have flags in them for research on disease, weed, and insect issues. Information signs are in front of the bogs as you walk down the center of the dike road. The museum has equipment and machinery that help to explain the differences between wet and dry harvesting. You will also find displays on the history of the Cranberry Research Station, and on marketing programs to help drive demand for the berries. Located in the north part of Long Beach on Pioneer Road. A nice place to stop and tour a cranberry farm with interesting displays in a museum, and a gift store with ice cream made from the berries."
