Travel Tacoma - Mt. Rainier Visitor Information Center

"Very disappointed to drive all the way to the visitors center, which states it is open, (per Google, and includes hours), to find a note on the door and the place dark and locked up. The note states they are available by telephone, but this does nothing for me after I have driven 25 mins to look at available brochures and info... Other sites say "temporarily closed." I would think there would be the ability to make note on Google that the actual center is closed and info is only available by phone or on the web..."

"Very disappointed! On Google it shows as being open 10am-3pm on Saturdays but when we arrived on a Sat and 1st day in Tacoma this Visitors Info Centre was closed. Tacoma had tourists wandering around aimlessly on this day including us, so we think the authorities need to get their act together otherwise you will get a bad reputation."

"The convention /information Center is very nice and clean. I' m sure it will be the nicest place/venue for Tacoma and AGT. I know we will enjoy watching from our lovely city of Tacoma."
