"Free rose garden. Pretty small but it's free and the concentration of roses was high. All of the roses looked healthy and smelled pretty good. There is also a few places to sit so you can stop and smell the roses Nearby there is a small japanese garden, this huge slide, and the point defiance zoo"
"Such a lovely and peaceful place. Even with it's popularity, it never seems crowded, with ample areas to mosey about and get killer photo ops. Take some time to explore and enjoy nature. There is a tunnel and dahlia flowers(my favorite) as well. Stop by after your zoo visit to decompress, or enjoy a picnic on the grass or picnic tables right outside the gates. Parking is precarious due to needing to cross the one way street, so watch your little ones."
"The gardens are amazing!! I especially loved the sections dedicated to dahlias, roses, and more! I spent half an hour smelling the roses happily and admiring the many colors of flowers that were well cared for and blooming wonderfully. Highly recommend for a boost of happiness."
"Absolutely worth a visit. Very big grounds with roses and beautiful rows of assorted other flowers. I went on a Monday and it wasn't crowded. It's a short walk to various other landscaped area's with ponds and interesting buildings. And there is very ample disabled parking. What I didn't see were restrooms."
"The Point Defiance Rose Garden is a stunning display of natural beauty and a must-visit for any nature lover. The garden is located in an idyllic, peaceful setting, and it's the perfect place for a romantic stroll or a picnic with friends and family. The garden boasts a wide variety of rose species, including hybrid teas, floribundas, climbers, and more. Each flower is a unique masterpiece of color, fragrance, and texture, and they are arranged in a way that showcases their individual beauty while complementing one another. The garden is well-maintained and clean, which only heightens the beauty of the flowers. The paths are well laid out, and it's easy to navigate around the garden, even if you're not a plant expert. One thing that particularly stands out about the Point Defiance Rose Garden is its bio-diversity. The garden has more than just roses; there are also mature trees, native shrubs, and other perennials that add to the garden's overall charm. Finally, the garden has a delightful little cafe that serves light snacks and drinks, as well as some excellent ice cream to help beat the summer heat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and their love for the garden is evident in their service. Overall, the Point Defiance Rose Garden is a phenomenal spot to unwind, relax, and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and picturesque retreat."
