"Horses are well loved and the older ones are rotated in just enough to let them get exercise but their work load is very light, instructors are very safety conscious, group lessons are kept fun and uplifting especially with the younger kids, they cover everything from getting horses ready to what to do after a ride for the horse. I grew up in pony club and I love that my daughter is getting a through education not just sitting on a horse for an hour."

He was picked up from school for early release Wednesday.The kids love being outside, they love the farm and Misti is great....my son made some new friends, he can't wait to go back. He burned off some energy and went to bed without a fight. I am so looking forward to the after school program starting"

"I took lessons from Misty a few years back. I loved it until I had to stop my lessons because we moved too far away for me to continue. After we spoke and she promised me a refund for my unused lessons I went to the barn after work to collect my refund and she was (conveniently) not there. I then emailed and called her repeatedly over the next few weeks with absolutely no communication from her. After communicating via email that I would take her to court for non payment I did just that. After winning my case she NEVER PAID! This was over 3 years ago. I am one of the reasons she has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau, she didn't communicate with the BBB to resolve the issues (because I'm not the only one she screwed over). Keep in mind that if you do business with Misty, you may lose. See also her reviews for her bed and breakfast if that's still in business. You'll see a few reviews that go along the same lines."

"So far, so good! We have been taking lessons here for about a month now and my little girl LOVES it. All the negative reviews really surprise me. Misti has been very professional and has always been extremely friendly. There was a mix up on our 1st day with the instructor but Misti jumped right in and taught the class. I am having some scheduling conflicts on my end and Misti was very nice about working with us so our little one can continue classes. We are very happy we found Chastain Mist."
