"Love it, but shame it's underutilized right now"
"A really beautiful building. Unfortunately it is underutilized because the person in charge of the building, Karen, doesn't prioritize the biggest events that take place here (Evergreen theater and Chibi Chibi Con)."
"The building has decent facilities, however access is tightly controlled by the head instructor. Even students who utilize the proper procedures will encounter "invisible rules and expectations" which severely hinders productivity. The performing arts are being brutally killed at Evergreen which is a shame. Furthermore, the students and non-profit organizations remaining that are pursuing their own projects encounter absurd 'red-tape'. It is my belief that experienced students with a focus on performing arts should be encouraged to use the facilities and equipment their tuitions (and the alumni before them) pay for. Karen is such a Karen... And until that changes, the performing arts are doomed at Evergreen. -A performing arts major with paid performing arts experience"
"Fund the arts at The Evergreen State College! The com building is good overall but we don't have access to the one actual theater in there anymore."
"Beautiful setting and fully equipped lecture rooms, practice rooms, theater, green room, etc. Two weird quirks: 1) all the plumbing/restrooms are at one end of the building 2) the top floor is kind of a maze. Great Einstein Bros cafe very close, out the non-plumbing end of the building. For those "retro" performances, there's an ancient-style amphitheater also out that end, in front of the Sports Center."
