"In my opinion, one of the best experiences going! We celebrated being newly engaged with our first whale watching tour through Island Adventures. I highly recommend them. The ship is incredible, spacious and has every amenity you could imagine to make a day on the water a complete luxury. The marine naturalists added to the experience with really interesting information on the voyage. And of course... the wildlife! We saw many different types of animals including orcas. Thank you for making such a special time even more magical. :)"
"Loved the boat, very stable catamaran, clean and well run. The crew was top notch. Food onboard is a bit meh so bring your own snacks. The Orcas on our trip were amazing. The crew takes great pictures with a professional camera so you don't need to, just observe the whales without distraction. The pic of your adventure are well worth the $30 and come on a USB drive you get before you return to port."
"My husband and I took our nephew over the weekend for some whale watching. He was so excited and so were we! Unfortunately we left a little disappointed after a 5 hour trip we only saw one humpback whale and that was it. I would have almost preferred we saw no whales so we could have the 50% discount for another time because there was not a lot going on during the tour. The captain and staff were GREAT though! They spoke through the intercom the whole time giving facts and information and directing everyone where to look. I'm someone who gets seasick extremely easy but that wasn't the case! This boat is pretty big and the waters are calm so I didn't feel sick even once! They also have a cafe on board with snacks, drinks and souvenirs which I appreciated because for some reason I didn't think to pack food. The boat and the restrooms were clean and it was a nice enjoyable ride overall. Just kind of disappointed in the actual whale watching part of this but I know that is at no fault to the charter! I think I'd book again next time we're up there and hope to see some more action!"
"Fantastic trip. Crew were great and very knowledgeable and we were lucky enough to see a lot of orcas! When it says on the website to bring a warm jacket, hat and gloves, they mean it, even on a very hot August day. When this boat moves it goes fast and top and front decks (best wildlife spotting) can get pretty chilly - lots of folk who hadn't come prepared ended up indoors."
