"I went on a 5 hour tour around burrows and Allan islands and had a great time! It was a foggy trip, but our guide Quinn made sure we made the channel crossings safely. We saw lots of wildlife and amazing views from the sea and learned some interesting facts. This was such a fun experience, definitely the highlight of my summer. "We did a 4-day kayaking tour with AKT and it was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Liz, was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable about the local geography and wildlife. We lucked out and saw quite a few seals and porpoises as well as a sea lion and otter. The AKT team did a great job of coming up with some excellent meal plans for us despite some of our group's dietary restrictions. Liz prepared our delicious meals each day including hot dinners each night and several hot lunches and breakfasts as well. Liz helped us find some great spots to watch sunset too. The trip was filled with gorgeous views, great company, and amazing food. Thank you AKT and especially Liz for an unforgettable vacation!"

"My friend and I did the 3 day Cypress Island tour on 08/31-09/02 with Nate as our guide. Nate is a friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming guide, and I hope you are able to keep him around for seasons to come. Special thanks to Anacortes Kayaking Tours for being accommodating with my friend’s and I’s trip. We were supposed to go in July, but about 2 weeks before our scheduled departure date, I broke my collarbone making even dressing for the trip impossible. The office was kind enough to reschedule myself and my friend for a tour later in the season when they were within their right to say “sorry, this happened within 30days of your trip, we can’t help you out with this one” and then take our money and leave us empty-handed. Instead they found an available tour date for the same tour at a date that worked well with my recovery timeline. The other mention I want to give a shout out to is that AKT allows you to upgrade to single kayaks (for a fee). My friend and I have done two other multi day trips with a different kayaking company in the San Juan Islands and upgrading to a single kayak was not an option we were given. Now that I’ve had the experience of driving a single kayak on a multi-day trip, I don’t want to go back to a double! Next summer I hope to do the 5 day trip with a fully revamped collarbone and a kayak all to myself. Hopefully we’ll see Nate around too."

"My girlfriend and I loved our 5-hour tour with our guide, Blake, and his girlfriend, Emma! The trip was an immersion into the Puget Sound. We were so lucky with having Blake show us the way. He was extremely knowledgeable on the historical evolution of the Puget Sound, and he loved sharing his passion for the wildlife around the area. We got to see so much during our 5-hour journey, and we felt like explorers on an expedition! My girlfriend and I still can’t stop talking about how fun the trip was, and we’re already wanting to go back to do another tour. Thanks AKT for a great activity during our Labor Day camping trip!"

"We picked Anacortes Kayak Tours so we could do a Bioluminescence Sunset Tour and it was really fantastic! Our guides Nate and Liz were helpful, knowledgeable, social, and just as excited as we were to experience the wonder of bioluminescence! Seeing the sunset wasn't our main priority, but it was absolutely gorgeous with bonus appearances by many harbor porpoises diving all around us. Equipment and gear was in good condition and they had dry bags available for anyone who needed one. Highly recommend AKT and would happily use their company again!"
