Reviews of Brick Fest Live
"What a huge waste of time and money! Not at all what they hyped it up to be. The staff was a complete joke as well. Such a gigantic disappointment and I will make sure if they ever come to town again to warn others not to be scammed like we were. Save your money and go out and purchase real legos and stay home instead."
"Jan2024: 0⭐: I do NOT recommend this activity nor any of the related activities or items connected to it. Just don't do it!! Go to a legitimate LEGO function, not this substandard operation. I asked for a refund for their failures to provide for items they hyped for the event. I paid extra for "VIP" tickets for this event in Jan 2024 in the morning. Upon our arrival at 10am, there were no pins, no neck tags, no badges, no escort to see special builds, no block pit, no celebrity guest, no private treatment for the extra price I paid above the cost of a regular pay at the door entry fee to include the cost of parking. This whole event was not what it was hyped and sold at the expense of the “VIP” tickets. This bait and switch operation featured an entire convention area that was vacant and unoccupied. The LEGO store set up in the middle of the operation area didn't feature unique items or hard to find items. My kids were ready to leave after 35 minutes."
"Touché Brick Fest. How you get away with a scam like this is truly amazing. I have no doubt your board of blockheads is proud to rip off poor people. Good on you for exploiting capitalism. Don’t go, not worth the $$$$$$$$, and their sets are of poor quality."
"Wish I had seen these reviews before buying. While the event is entertaining, it is very poorly organized, and not worth the $20 extra for the VIP price...at all. You stand in the same 1/2 mile long line to enter, get a pin that is MAYBE worth $2, and the free build is a mini brickbot made out of 21 pieces that I could have built for $1 at the LEGO Store. Don't waste your money on the perceived extra. There are a couple of building stations (you don't get to keep your builds), a LEGO "pool", and LEGO derby tracks where you get to build your own car to run, but most of the lines were so long my child had no interest. LO did do the LEGO pool which was fun for them."
"This was the biggest scam I've ever seen! Do not go to this event! I was so excited to go when I heard this was going to be in town. I watch a few Lego "Master's" online via YouTube and thought this would be a cool event to go to and see some pretty cool custom builds. Went with a friend and we both bought VIP tickets, which they stated "Were Limited" (Turns out everyone was VIP) and we were so excited to see what the event would show case. We got to the Puyallup Fair Grounds at the time it told us to be there (We had 11:30 AM Tickets) The line was 2 1/2 blocks long and wrapped around the street and once you were into the main gates, it took another 30 minutes to get into the main doors. The whole venue was a massive disappointment and felt like it was done on the cheap. Lego's they said.....what Lego's?..... They had a center table with a few store bought Lego items, that were super tiny. However, look closer, those larger "Lego" ones like the Green Space Man, those are all 3-D Printed.... Take a closer look..... It's funny and sad honestly. We stood in line for hours to only use the race track event and then leave. All the Lego's that the public were able to use were disgusting and nasty. All sticky, with food pieces on them, and I'm sure they don't clean them after each event. All in all, a complete scam of an event! A complete joke, and a complete waste of a Saturday. I'm going to dispute the charge with my credit card company and see what they say. I won't give these Scammers any of my money."
