Reviews
"First let me say I am very physically active. My age makes being active a risk sometimes because I always push the envelope of my physical performance. I am not in my 20s or 30s so parts tend to break and wear out. I am writing this review because this particular clinic has been very important to my maintaining my high level of physical activities. This location is easy for me to get into and out of to go home. I live in SE Auburn so this is a real hike for me to get there but the parking is under the building and there has always been space to park, which for this location, the U. District, is a good thing because there is little or no available street parking (what is there is full of cars parked on the street, usually). As far as the Bone And Joint Center or whatever they call it now, what I can tell potential patients is that the Hand Therapy/Occupational Therapy Department is second to none. I have a lady named Carol and she is the best hand therapist I have ever worked with by a large margin. I have worked with hand therapists at Virginia Mason and they are nowhere near as experienced and as good as Carol has been for me. I have used two surgeons at this center. Dr. Frederick Matson, III, and Dr. Jerry Huang. Without disclosing details of the surgeries, what I can say is that both of these surgeons get my complete trust if they do surgery on me. They are that good. Dr. Matson is a professor at UW Medical School as well (he is a shoulder specialist). Dr. Huang is VERY intelligent and learned in his specialty and he can make decisions on what to do if he cuts open the area and finds a mess or something unexpected. His skill level is top shelf, as is his level of surgery experience. He is young, so don't let that fool you, he is top shelf all the way. Both of these surgeons have normal personalities, are very disarming to meet and talk to, and they have NEVER acted like they were in a hurry and have always been patient in answering all my questions, and I will freely admit some of my questions are probably annoying to them (most are, however, technical questions they do need to answer). They have never made promises they did not keep, and I don't mean they make promises but if you ask a question they are careful never to overstate the remedy or outcome. This is important. They tell you what you need to hear, not what they think you want to hear. The support staff have always been super cordial and professional with me, from the front desk people to the people who take me back to the exam room to the Diagnostic Imaging professionals, to the assistants for these surgeons to the awesome nurses who work in the Surgery Center, to the Anesthesiologists. In short, I totally trust these two surgeons and I trust the entire department to handle anything I need for their skills and services. If you want the very best care for a shoulder, elbow, wrist or hand injury or problem, especially if you are active, this is where you want to go."
"Honestly Dr. Erin Miller was racist to me she told me she was not going to help me in any manner for my race. I am not only disappointed but appalled due to the disrespect. She is extremely rude and has malicious intents in patients that are not white."
"I drove over 2 hours to see a doctor for my ruptured bicep. They kept asking me about my shoulder. I finally asked did you receive my referral and read it? They had No idea why I was there. So now you can bet all be charged for a visit that they were clueless about. And he was rude and unprofessional. He acted as if he was clueless. Read your referrals people. I heard you were the best lick that in my book your not."
"I had carpal tunnel surgery and synovial cyst removed last September by Dr. Erin Miller and she is a great doctor and her whole team is wonderful. I know you have to have trigger finger surgery in a couple weeks. They're great parking, easy access and easy to get to"
"Dr. Jason Hsu and all the staff here are very friendly and always on time 99% of the time. If you're ever late or missed an appointment a lot of time they will accommodate today same day if possible. Dr.hsu is one of the leading providers in shoulder replacement surgeries and revisions. He's worked on my left shoulder over seven times and not because of him, because of my underlying illness an infections. I write honest reviews and if you like this please hit the like button."
