"I’ll keep it short and simple. I think it’s important we share our experiences with others so everyone’s perspective is being considered. I’m sure lisha is a great therapist choice for some but there are reasons I believe that client biased sensitivity training might benefit her as a practitioner and I wouldn’t say she’s a good choice as a therapist in a general sense. The reasons for this are personal but to keep it short I’ll just say I really feel a lack of compassion on her end. And I also feel a sense of ingenuity. I felt uncomfortable and wouldn’t recommend this therapist to anyone who is a highly sensitive individual"
"Lisha is a great therapist. I saw her for many years, and she was the grounding presence in my life that helped me feel more at peace with where I was. She was like a good friend, and showed lots of care and respect for me. She helped cultivate a dynamic that gave me insight and hope. The support she gave me was invaluable."
"My life took a new turn the day I started working with Lisha Song. Her training and techniques were foreign to me, but I began to heal on a much deeper level than I ever had despite all of the traditional forms of talk therapy that I had experienced. She gave a voice to my wounded inner child and taught me how to listen to that voice in order to understand what was needed. She showed me how to heal. She led me to the answers and, when I was ready, she gave me back the reins confident that I could navigate whatever came my way, wherever the road may lead. She was right. I still use the tools that she taught me every day. Since our last session four years ago, not only have I moved forward, but I have reclaimed my life, my dreams, and my potential. All from a place of peace that I never thought was possible."
"Don't know why the last reviewer had such an awful experience. Every time I saw Lisha, she was amazing. I visited her for about 5 months back in 2014. I've had depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and ADHD since I was 12. I've have literally seen dozens of therapists over the last 16 years, 2.5 dozen at last count, and Lists was the first person I ever felt a true comfort and ease with. It made all the difference in my results. She's soft spoken, intelligent, very empathetic and kind, and has just the firm hand procrastinators like me need to get our butts in gear and do the work that comes with trauma therapy. New circumstances have arisen in my life that may require me to return to therapy and Lists will be my first choice going back. She's truly talented at what she does and loves it."
"I randomly picked Lisha as a counselor from an internet search. When I saw her, I had just lost two good friends two days prior in a horrible accident that has a lot of media visibility at the time . She was extremely unprofessional, and asked me 'insider' questions about the building in which they had lost their lives. She has been following the story on the news. After saying sorry for your loss, she remarked on the structural integrity of the building being to blame as it 'wasn't up to code' in the way of victim blaming. She also made disparaging remarks about my family of origin's religion, and was condescending about a college that I went to. I'm not one to leave bad reviews for people, but experience was absolutely horrible, and this was compounded by the fact of the loss of two good friends. This is NOT a 'sacred healing place', to be perfectly honest. She was incredibly unprofessional (and expensive). At the bare minimum, if you are seeking grief counseling DO NOT go here. She doesn't get it, and based on my experience I don't think she should be in practice until she has more training."
