"Physioworks in Silverdale left me quite disappointed and frustrated. Approximately a month ago, I contacted my insurance to confirm coverage for physical therapy at Physioworks. I was assured that 20 visits per year were covered with a $20 copay. Following their recommendation, I scheduled an appointment with Physioworks for physical rehabilitation. Several days before the appointment, I received a call from someone with an accent that made communication extremely challenging. Despite my efforts to understand, the message was unclear. Eventually, I learned that the call was to confirm my appointment. However, on the day of my visit- just four hours before my scheduled time, Physioworks informed me that they required an order from my doctor. Fortunately, I had just visited my doctor and I promptly sent over the necessary documents. Physioworks acknowledged the receipt, only to later claim that my insurance wasn't valid under my name, contradicting the information provided by my insurance company. The confusion continued with conflicting messages about my insurance coverage. Upon arriving for my appointment, I encountered further issues. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming but unsure about my insurance coverage and suggested I sign an agreement to pay the full cash price of $100. This prolonged the check-in process, and we were 15 minutes past my scheduled time with no resolution. Physical therapists Carl walked up to us and told us that our surgeon's office was prompt and responsive to their request for information. Moments later, physical therapist Rochelle/Rachelle provided conflicting information about the delays and the difficulties in obtaining the necessary orders from my doctor. To add to the frustration, Rochelle/Rachelle suggested that my family shouldn't accompany me to future appointments due to limited seating, which felt like a facility issue rather than my responsibility. Feeling unwelcome and with no resolution in sight, my family and I decided to leave after spending about 30 minutes in the Silverdale Physioworks waiting area. This was probably an equally frustrating experience for the business, because they had phoned me multiple times, send multiple texts, and I had taken up the time of the office clerk and two physical therapists for about 30 minutes- and despite all of time invested by Physioworks on my behalf- the business ended up receiving zero revenue. I even requested communication via text or email in the future due to difficulty understanding verbal communication, only to receive a phone message the very next day. As someone facing major mobility challenges- the effort to leave the house, drive to the facility, navigate the parking lot, and hobble to the front door is significant. To leave without healthcare after making that kind of effort is very frustrating. That frustration coupled with the lack of attention to detail and organizational issues, left me feeling disheartened and without the healthcare I needed. I had scheduled this appointment well in advance, and the issues should have been resolved beforehand. The icing on the cake was the comment from Physioworks staff that my family shouldn't accompany me for the next visit because Physioworks doesn't own enough chairs. I hope this feedback serves to highlight areas for improvement. As a patient, I believe it is crucial to address these issues to ensure a better experience for others facing similar challenges."
"Going into physical therapy, I was hesitant, nervous and felt like I wasn’t going to recover from my injury at all. After being seen and consistently working with the staff at PhysioWorks, I can proudly say they alleviated all of those worries and push me (within my limits) to make a comeback. They’re intelligent, genuine and I couldn’t ask for better PT’s and PTA’s to be working with me. I feel overjoyed and so thankful every time I leave any of my appointments. I can’t recommend them enough if you have a work injury! They will definitely get you back on your feet!"
"The staff at Physio Works are wonderful and very helpful. And my personal therapist has been excellent in helping me out with all my workouts. She is well informed and has been doing a great job with my training. I will and do recommend other people to use your establishment. Thanks R.Vancil"
"MY time here at physio works was a great experience. From day one each staff member listened to me and gave me goals that I could achieve. Each therapist had different ideas for exercises to improve my injury and in time I did. They also work around your schedule as best as they can. I would recommend this place and I would also return if I should get injured again. Thank you all for helping me to recover. Christine"
