"Stopped in during the week just before closing and the staff were kind enough to still give us a tour as the mansion, and the history behind it. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. With Halloween coming up the Mansion is temporarily becoming a haunted house. Don't forget to buy a jar of Apple Butter when you visit. Admission is by donation. $2 recommended per person."

"The building and artifacts are very cool. However, what makes this a fantastic visit back into history is the volunteers that tell the stories, explain how they did life back then, and allow others to try. I went with my family and we left with so much more knowledge than we started with. My kiddos also left with a list of many things they wanted to try after learning.
