"Had an amazing visit to the museum, can’t believe I have never visited! Miss Jackie showed us many of the new displays and it was really exciting to learn the history of the museum and see the updates they are making to better reflect SC history and give voices to those whose stories have not been widely told. The museum was much bigger than I thought it would be, and had some very unique artifacts along with interactive displays. Could have easily spent an entire day there, and would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys learning new things! Thank y’all for a fantastic visit (and the hot sauce was a huge hit like I’m sure the blanket will be!!)"

"It is one of the larger state oriented military museums I have been to. Everything they have is well documented and maintained. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop to check it out. There are both outside exhibits as well as indoor displays. It opens at 10 AM. It covers military weapons for all services as well as the revolutionary war up through desert storm. Very well done."
