Reviews
"The staff were pleasant and helpful. The facilities were clean and beautifully designed. The art was excellent. And the play was very engaging and relevant."
"We enjoyed a fine production of “What the Constitution Means to Me.” The venue itself has a fun atmosphere—funky and eclectic."
"My husband and I have a wonderful evening watching Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy, Really. Great venue, great performance. This was our first time and we will be coming back!"
"Tonight was the first preview of Dracula. While the performers/premise were wonderful, it was difficult to understand the dialog. I was upstairs in the first row of the balcony (S4). Perhaps it was the English and Romanian accents, or the enunciation and/or projection, or my aging ears but whatever the cause, it made for a less than stellar performance. Plus, some attendees insisted on leaving before the intermission though their friends courteously waited."
"I’m sad to leave a less-than-stellar review for PCS, which we used to love. Over the past 4 or 5 years, the quality of the productions has declined. We’ve seen at least 15 productions here, but the last few have been disappointing. The casts are talented, and in the case of Hair, the vocal performances are very strong. The direction and choreography are a bit weak, however. Previous productions were polished and professional, but the last few seemed like high-school productions. We will try a couple more performances, hoping things will improve. If they don’t, we won’t be back."
